Have questions about how it all works?

Yes, if you have a Home Care Package you are able to sign up with us and choose your own local Hunter care team. If you are with another Provider, we can help you switch over to us seamlessly with no gaps in your services. Call our friendly team on +61 460 797979 to learn more about how to switch over to Lucky Care.

Yes, if you go into hospital care, you can typically pause your Home Care Package. During your hospital stay, your home care services can be put on hold, and your package can be resumed once you return home. You will need to notify your Home Care Package Provider about your hospital stay and discuss the necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth transition when you return.

Aged care funding provides support for older individuals needing assistance with daily living activities and health care, primarily through the Home Care Packages and residential aged care. The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), on the other hand, offers funding and support for people under 65 with permanent and significant disabilities to help them achieve their goals and participate fully in their communities. While aged care focuses on older adults, the NDIS is aimed at younger people with disabilities. You can’t access both the Home Care Package and NDIS funding at the same time.
