What is included in Everyday Living support?

  • Gardening (e.g. lawn mowing, pruning for safety)

Who is everiday living support for?

Everyday support is for older Australians who want to continue living independently, as well as for anyone who finds housework physically difficult, is recovering from surgery or illness, or has mobility or balance challenges. It’s designed to help individuals maintain a safe, hygienic, and comfortable living space with the support they need.

How independence support is delivered

You’re assessed through My Aged Care and assigned a funding level.

Your funding covers eligible clinical services within your care plan.

Qualified professionals provide care in-home or via telehealth, depending on the service.

Lucky Care helps coordinate appointments, reviews, and plan updates.

How everyday living support is funded under Support at Home

  • Funded from Level 1 onwards (especially common for Levels 1–4)
